Show Cause Notification and Disclosure - April/15/2022

 SHOW CAUSE NOTIFICATION AND DISCLOSURE

Please be informed that Premiere Career College (PCC) has received a show cause directive from the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) on April 11, 2022, and has directed to disclose this show cause action to all current and prospective students from all programs of the institution.

Notification to ABHES is required for an adverse or probationary equivalent action placed upon an institution or program by a recognized accrediting agency, state approval agency, or federal regulatory agency (Chapter III, Section B, Subsection C (i) of the ABHES Accreditation Manual). Premiere Career College did not provide notification to ABHES regarding BVNPT’s decision to remove PCC’s Vocational Nursing-diploma program from its list of approved programs. In addition, the response of PCC to ABHES inquiry received on March 4, 2022, did not provide adequate updates on the institutions plan for assisting students to continue their education either at PCC or another institution with an approved Vocational Nursing program. Moreover, ABHES has found that BVNPT action raises questions concerning PCC’s compliance with IV.C and IV.D of the ABHES accreditation Manual concerning the administration and management of the institution. For these reasons the Commission’s Executive Committee has found reason to direct PCC to show cause why its accreditation should not be withdrawn.

Premiere Career College has accordingly submitted its response and required documents to ABHES regarding the April 11, 2022 show cause directive.

The institution’s administration, faculty and staff are committed to continuously adhere to high standards of providing the quality education that all enrolled students deserve.
